As far as UK-based retailers go, Boots needs to introduction, especially for us beauty sleuths. Popular when it comes to both in-store and online shopping, Boots has become a go-to destination for all things makeup, skincare, perfume and haircare that we all know and love. It's home to some of the most iconic and biggest brands, including but not limited to Estee Lauder, Too Faced, Chanel, Urban Decay, Drunk Elephant, Clinique, Liz Earle and No7. Not to mention the viral celebrity-owned brands (hi, Fenty Beauty, Kylie Cosmetics and Huda Beauty).

What's inside the Boots multi-brand advent calendar 2023?
Unsurprisingly, the Boots advent calendar 2023 features some of the retailer's biggest best-selling products, coming from Fenty Beauty, Bobbi Brown, Lancôme, Huda Beauty, REN, Drunk Elephant, Shiseido and Sol De Janeiro. The best part? Out of the included 24 products, 14 are full-size (making less than half the products travel-size). Trust me, as a beauty writer who's unpacked dozens of some of the best beauty advent calendars this year, I'm actually impressed. Given the amount of full-size products and the brands included, I'd say that the price is more than reasonable.
Another highlight for me is that it also has a healthy balance of the different kinds of beauty products stocked inside. You'll spot everything from haircare, body-care, skincare and makeup treats – perfect for even the fussiest of tastes.

But if there's one thing we can almost guarantee is that the stock is not likely to last long. As a self-proclaimed beauty advent calendar expert, I can confirm that most quality advent calendars usually sell out 3-5 weeks after going on sale, but given it's the very first time Boots is releasing their own, I'd say that the hype around it will only increase the likelihood that it'll fly off the shelves even sooner. So whether you wanted to buy one to gift to a family member, a friend, a partner or if you wanted to keep it to yourself (who wouldn't?), we'd suggest not leaving it until last minute.
