Recently, Vince suffered a setback as his mother, Vicki Askew, passed away. Vicki Askew died at the age of 101, ahead of the 2022 Royal Rumble.

As reported by The Courier of Montgomery County, Vicki passed away quietly of natural causes in her sleep at home in The Woodlands, TX on January 20th.

Vicki was born on July 11th, 1920 in Florence, South Carolina. She is the only daughter of her parents, Orpheus William Hanner and Victoria Kennedy Hanner.

Her funeral took place on 22nd January and was reported to be a private family affair. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Vicki’s family and friends for their loss.
